Austria chosen for burger king wrestling promotion

Burger King has chosen Austria to launch a worldwide wrestling entertainment (WWE) promotion with its children's meals.

The promotion comes after the two sealed a global partnership which will see a special Kids Meal promotions running this summer across 10,000 restaurants in over 30 countries.

The promotion is scheduled to start this month in Austria.

It features WWE Superstars Triple H, John Cena and Undertaker on Burger King Kids Meal packaging and food wraps.

More than one million exclusive plush toys, which each play the stars' individual entrance music, will be included in the promotion.

Burger King has also created local ads to support the campaign in Austria.

Additionally, merchandise and advertising displays will be featured at participating restaurants.

"WWE is very excited to partner with the Burger King brand, a globally recognised leader in the quick service restaurant industry, that reaches millions around the world," said Michelle Wilson, WWE EVP, marketing.

"WWE's family friendly product, which is seen in 145 countries, is a great fit with Burger King Kids Meals."
