AVL eyes up NTC
AVL Holding GmbH (AVL) is considering taking over NTC Powertrain Australia, USA and UK (NTC), it has been reported.
Business newspapers have it today (Thurs) that the Graz-based firm has signed a letter of intent to acquire the internationally operating firm.
NTC provides transmission designs and prototype solutions to car-making companies such as General Motors, Volkswagen (VW) and Ford.
AVL focuses on development, simulation and testing technology for powertrains for passenger cars, lorries and large engines. It has around 4,300 employees around the world.
