ZZ Top to rock Vienna
American hard rock stars ZZ Top will perform in Austria later this year, it has been announced.
The trio, together since 1969, are set to rock the Stadthalle Vienna on 14 October, according to Britishrock.cc.
ZZ Top not only won fans around the globe with their music but also thanks to their iconic rocker outfits including the untrimmed beards of Dusty Hill and Billy Gibbons.
The front men of the band reportedly turned down a one-million-US dollar offer by Gillette for getting rid of their beards for a TV commercial in the 1980s.
The band have released 14 studio albums over the years. Reports have it that the follow-up of 2003 CD "Mescalero" will hit the shelves later this year.
Meanwhile, British melancholic rock trio I Am Kloot said they will perform at Vienna’s Flex club on 30 October and at the p.p.c. in Graz the next night.
