Urban Art exhibits at Kunsthalle Vienna
Vienna’s Kunsthalle Museum focuses on Urban Art this summer as exhibits of the work by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and design duo Séripop have gone on display.
Museum officials said works by late American painter Basquiat are at the heart of the "Street and Studio. From Basquiat to Séripop" exhibition which started last month and will run until 10 October.
They added that the exhibit also features works created in collaboration with late US graffiti artist Keith Haring to whom a special exhibition is dedicated at the moment. "Keith Haring 1978 - 1982" opened in May and can be visited until 19 September.
Works by Andy Warhol, Séripop, Street Art artists Evan Roth, Mark Jenkins and Brad Downey as well as by photographer Ari Marcopoulos are now also on at the museum located in Neubau district.
