Students to protest against tuition fees

The Austrian Students' Association (ÖH) in Innsbruck are planning a demonstration against the government’s plans to re-introduce tuition fees.

The demonstration is due to take place on Thursday in front of Innsbruck University.

The student's association wants to advise the students about which legal steps they should take against the upcoming changes.

Student Association president Benjamin Rohrer said: "If autonomous tuition fees are introduced, students should be told of the changes this might bring."

The University council will decide on whether tuition fees will be introduced on Thursday.
