Pensioner falls to his death behind pub
A Styrian pensioner has died after falling off an embankment behind his local.
Officials in Gollrad said today (Weds) the 62-year-old had gone outside to get some fresh air as he met with pals for a drink at the pub last night.
The man died instantly after plunging around 15 metres and landing on a fence.
Police said they had ruled out foul play.
A Vorarlberg council worker is meanwhile recovering at a hospital after he slipped on a riverbed in Dornbirn yesterday. The man, 43, lost his balance and fell on his face as he cleared rubbish from the creek.
