Driver dies crashing into pub

A 43-year-old man has been killed after his car came off the road and crashed into a pub last night (Thurs/Fri).

Officials in Walding, Upper Austria, said the technician from Ottensheim died instantly when he steered his car into the wall of the local after he lost control of the wheel for reasons unknown.

It has not been revealed whether the driver was drunk.

Crash experts are investigating the site and the write-off to find out what led to the accident.
