Elderly partyer falls into bonfire

A partying pensioner from Upper Austrian suffered third degree burns after he fell into a bonfire at the weekend.

The 60-year-old Walding man was dragged from the bonfire by a 20-year-old fellow raver after he collapsed and fell into the fire at a local festival Saturday night.

Police in Ottensheim, Upper Austria, said today (Tues) the man was still in hospital at the AKH clinic Linz where he is recovering from severe burns to his back. They added he may have been drunk.
