Autopsy as Turk trucker found dead
An autopsy has been ordered after the body of a truck driver was found on the Austrian-Hungarian border.
Police in the Burgenland border town of Nickelsdorf said today (Fri) the 45-year-old Turkish man’s body was discovered by colleagues who forcefully opened his truck’s cabin after two days at a motorway rest stop yesterday.
The dead driver and his colleagues were forced to halt their trip until authorities provided them with certain cargo documents.
Motorway police said the corpse showed no signs of carried out violence, but added that an autopsy was ordered to clarify the cause of his death.
