Honest German cleaner to spend free holiday in Tyrol
A German cleaner has been invited to spend a weekend in the Tyrolean Alps after handing in an Austrian tourist’s lost wallet containing thousands of Euros.
Police in Mindelheim in the German State of Bavaria announced today (Thurs) the owner – a man from the Tyrolean town of Reutte – spontaneously decided to offer the honest woman, 52, the chance to go on holiday to his home province at his expense.
He had lost his wallet in the town museum while on holidays in Bavaria – which borders Tyrol – earlier this month.
