Deadline approaching for returning parking tickets

Since 31st March 2012 new parking charges have been in place in the Austrian capital.

Any old parking tickets which are no longer valid according to the new tariffs can be returned to the authorities at the MA 6 or exchanged for new ones when paying the difference in cost until 31st of August.

After this date you will no longer be able to return the tickets.

The following new tariffs were introduced: one Euro/ half an hour, two Euro/ one hour, three Euro/ 90 minutes, four Euro/ two hours.

All tickets with the out of date tariffs can be returned or exchanged until the end of August.

You can either return the tickets in person or via post at the following address:- 1082 Wien, Rathaus, Stiege 7.

The money can be transferred to your account. Do not forget to add your account number, sort code and name.

After 31st August 2012 you will no longer be able to return or exchange the parking tickets.
