Puppy pampering in Vienna

A bakery in Austria has started making fresh treats, using the best ingredients, not for people but for dogs. The "Bunter Hund" bakery has opened in Vienna with the sole purpose of providing nutritious doggy snacks for man’s best friend.

"We have treats with meat but also vegetarian ones and make sure that what is on offer constantly changes. The most popular are the liver chips closely followed by speck and potato cakes, wholemeal honey hearts and apple and cheese biscuits," explained one employee.

The various goodies cost 4.10 Euros per 100 grams but the dog pampering does not stop in the bakery. The lucky pups can then make a trip to the butchery to indulge in some fresh meat or even invest in dog perfume, blankets or hot water bottles in the onsite shop.
