Austrian coach sacked after one match in Croatia
The first Austrian football coach to work in Croatia’s top-flight league was sacked after just one match.
Adolf Pinter was dismissed after NK Croatia Sesvete lost 0-6 to leaders Dinamo Zagreb.
Pinter was named NK Croatia Sesvete manager during the league’s winter break in January.
Croatian Times reports club officials already announced Croat Goran Jerkovic would succeed Pinter.
NK Croatia Sesvete are bottom lights of the 16-team Croatian Football League (HNL) after garnering just seven points in 18 matches.
